 Tire Pressure
« Thread Started on Jun 2, 2009, 8:22pm »

Hey guys. My cycle has Bridgestone tires on it. Back is 170/80-15M/G and the front is 120/90-17.

I am wondering what the proper tire pressure should be in these.

Any suggestions? :)

Peace

Hey, Dave.

I forget. What kind of bike are you on now? But without knowing that, I'd start at the owners manual and see what it says.

On my 'wing I run about 38-39# front and 41-42# rear. I've adjusted the pressures to various values over the years and can't really tell much difference in handling or wear unless I go 5 or more # up or down.

Check with the shop, too. Paul and the guys can help you out, I'm sure.

Later, Kemo Sabe.

I am still on my 03 Shadow 750 A.C.E.

I have to locate my manual. :) Which is why I kind of asked as a generality here. Cause Bob is always on the ball, and knows all about Honda's. :):)

Summertime is difficult for me to take even a short roadtrip, as my kids are home from school, so I cant go far. Maybe I'll see if I can get somebody to watch them and go for a cruise. :)

That "cruise" plan is the one I'd work on if I were you. :D
